AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of the greatest French wines. Its story is closely related to those of the Popes. The Grand Pope Premium Collection from Wines and Brands honors the Pope Clément VI.
Pope Clément VI, recognized for his intellectual qualities, his eloquence and his sense of diplomacy, was the Pope in Avignon from 1342 to 1352. Art lover, Clément VI focused on European exchanges and made Avignon a cultural melting pot. Innocent VI whose preoccupation was to bring peace to the Italian territories belonging to the Holy See, brought his predecessor’s monumental work to a close.

Heirs to over 700 years of know-how, all the cuvées of the Prestige Grand Pope Collection come from organic plots rigorously selected according to the quality of the terroir and the age of the vines. This choice results in very low yields, but exceptional quality, offering rich, intense aromas. The grapes are harvested by hand and each bunch is meticulously sorted to ensure that only the best are selected. After vinification, the wine is aged in barrels according to biodynamic principles. This painstaking work aims to produce precious wines that are a true reflection of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir.
