The vines are planted on a soil composed of Villafranchian rounded pebbles. It allows a better storage of the sun’s heat during the day to restore it at night. The pebbles also allow rainwater to infiltrate to the grounds which will feed the vines during the dry season.

All the vintages come from plots scrupulously selected for the quality of the terroir and the age of
the vines. Harvested by hand, all clusters are sorted to select only the best. After the winemaking, the aging is done in barrels.
